Van 31 augustus t/m 4 oktober 2020 is werk van de Wassenaarse vereniging van amateur beeldende kunstenaars Ars et Studium te zien tijdens de openingsuren van de Openbare Bibliotheek in Wassenaar. De werken die te zien zijn in de bibliotheek, zijn zeer verschillend, met schilderijen in olie en acryl, aquarellen, en objecten van keramiek en glas, en geven een goed beeld van deze gezellige en creatieve vereniging.
Sinds begin maart zijn de ateliers van Ars et Studium in het Van Heeckerenhuis gesloten geweest vanwege de coronacrisis en hebben de leden van de vereniging veelal thuis moeten werken. Maar vanaf 31 augustus gaan de meeste studiebijeenkomsten van Ars et Studium weer beginnen, uiteraard volgens de landelijke coranaregels. Er is tijdens de zomer hard gewerkt om speciale werkplekken te creëren in het Van Heeckerenhuis zodat de leden veilig ‘samen-op-gepaste-afstand’ kunnen schilderen, tekenen, boetseren en met glas werken, onder begeleiding van ervaren en geschoolde kunstenaars.
Vanwege de nieuwe maatregelen zijn de groepen in het nieuwe seizoen kleiner geworden, maar er zijn nog enkele plekken open voor nieuwe leden, ook in de jeugdgroepen (kinderen van 6 t/m 12 jaar). Dus als je zelf je creatieve talenten wil ontwikkelen in tekenen, schilderen, boetseren of met glas werken, grijp nu je kans! Exhibition by Ars et Studium in Wassenaar Public Library
From 31 August to 4 October you can see work by members of amateur art society Ars et Studium in the public library in Wassenaar, during the library’s opening hours. The works vary from paintings in oil and acrylic to watercolours, clay modelling, ceramics and fused glass. Together they give a good representation of this enthusiastic and creative art society.
In early March the studios of Ars et Studium were forced to close because of the coronavirus situation, and the members continued to work at home. However from 31 August we are pleased to announce that the new season will begin in the Van Heeckerenhuis. During the summer the studios have been reorganised with individual workstations so that we can come together – at a safe distance – to draw and paint, work with clay and glass, under the guidance of professionally trained artists.
The safety measures mean that the groups in the new season are smaller than usual, but there are still some places available for new members, including the children’s groups (aged 6 to 12 years).
