Het jaar 2020 is bijna om, en wat een jaar het was! We hebben inmiddels een tweede lockdown achter de rug, maar de leden van amateurkunstenaarsvereniging Ars et Studium gaan onverminderd door in hun drang om hun creatieve talenten verder te ontwikkelen. Hetzij in de studio’s van Ars et Studium in het Van Heeckerenhuis (uiteraard volgens de RIVM coronamaatregelen), hetzij in een geïmproviseerde werkplek aan de keukentafel of in de logeerkamer.

Net als in het voorjaar zijn wij heel blij om jullie allemaal uit te nodigen om het werk te zien dat in het afgelopen seizoen gemaakt is: tekeningen, aquarellen, schilderijen in olie en acryl, afdrukken, keramiek en glasobjecten. Een veelheid aan technieken die ook een weerspiegeling is van de veelzijdigheid van de leden van deze gezellige en ijverige vereniging.

En je hoeft niet eens de deur uit te gaan, want de tentoonstelling is gewoon te zien op de voorpagina van onze website http://www.arsetstudium.nl . De tentoonstelling wordt op heel geestige wijze ‘digitaal’ geopend door Tom Mikkers, predikant vrijzinnige NPB Wassenaar, op woensdag 16 december om 20:00uur, waarna de tentoonstelling open staat voor bezoekers t/m 31 januari 2021.

Exhibition: Art in the time of corona II

The year 2020 is drawing to a close, and what a year it has been! We’ve now been through a second lockdown, but that hasn’t dampened the enthusiasm of the members of amateur artists society Ars et Studium as they work on developing their creative talents, whether working in the society’s studios in the Van Heeckerenhuis (of course in accordance with the latest safety guidelines), or in an improvised workplace at home on the kitchen table or in the spare room.

Just like in the spring, we are delighted to invite you to visit the exhibition of work made during the past season: drawings, watercolours, paintings in oil and acrylic, prints, ceramics and glass objects. A wide range of mediums that reflects the diversity of the members of this friendly and industrious society.

To visit the exhibition you don’t even need to leave the comfort of your own home: just go to the website http://www.arsetstudium.nl where you can see the official (and very creative!) opening by Tom Mikkers from the NPB church in Wassenaar, before going on to admire all the works on display. The opening goes live on Wednesday 16 December at 8 p.m. and will remain online until 31 January 2021.
